    In 1992, DC's crossover event for their annuals was Eclipso: The Darkness Within. The 18 annuals were bookended by the 2 issue mini-series, also titled Eclipso: The Darkness Within. The second issue, released October 1992, was directly followed by the first issue of this series, in November 1992.

    With Eclipso as the title character, this series ran 18 issues. It included one Eclipso Annual in 1993, which was itself part of the 1993 annual event, Bloodlines.
