    History

    At the behest of Nicholas Scratch, Dynamiteer arrived in Gotham city after the Cataclysm to further escalate chaos and ensure that Gotham would be abandoned by the federaL government. While trying to blow up a bridge, in order to prevent people from fleeing Gotham, the Dynamiteer was apprehended by Nightwing and Robin, and sent to Blackgate Penitentiary.

    Months later, when Nightwing arrived at Blackgate to take control away from Lock-Up, Biggler was seen in the hole along with several other inmates. During an escape attempt, Biggler argued with Firefly over where to lay explosives. The two came to blows and it was decided that Firefly had the better expertise in explosives. The prisoners escaped the hole but remained incarcerated at Blackgate.
