I am worried they are being forgotten. THey arent really getting any character development and goten hasn't got taller or stronger at all. Any theories if they will get stronger or develop more as characters

They were never really characters to begin with. They basically only exist for Gotenks to be a thing. Other than that, they don't really contribute much to the story.

I've always wanted a serious Gotenks

Yamcha? Piccolo? Gohan? Future Trunks?

@rukelnikovftw: Yamcha got one episode of filler between arcs. He's lucky for that much.

Piccolo got one fight and pretty much didn't matter. He's also a babysitter. I guess it's better than nothing.

Gohan is dead to me. This is not Gohan, I refuse to acknowledge him as such.

Future Trunks got a terrible arc filled with PIS. Sure, they gave him something. But so did GT, doesn't make it good.

Oh, you were talking about Super only, thought you meant the series in general... Then:

And btw, appearing a lot doesn't mean character development, Goku has had none, and appeared in almost every single episode
