Dot is the sister of Arthur. She tends to mock Arthur for choosing to be a superhero, but she also supports him when he needs it.

Dot appears in the 90's cartoon. her character is pretty much the same as in the comic. In the show she marries a character named Dinosaur Neil.
In the 1st live action series, Dot and her mother disapprove of Arthur's lifestyle and have him sent to an asylum. Later they learn to accept Arthur for who he is.
In the Amazon Prime series, Dot's character is different from her previous incarnations in these ways.
- She's an EMT.
- She practices Krav Maga.
- She has the superhuman power to see into the future.
She becomes more involved in the adventures of the Tick and Arthur, and does everything to help them. She even begins to bond with the show's vigilante, Overkill.
