Blue and black is without a doubt the iconic look and what most people identify with.
But Red is more aesthetically pleasing
@i3io_hazard: Hmm...
@cyberwarrior: haha, I guess it's just because red is my fav color. honestly dick just looks good in any color though
@i3io_hazard: Same here - Blue is my favourite colour)
@supbatz: His red eyes are the night vision, which use to be green, you normally see them white like they usually are
@nightwingism: I stand corrected.
I like the red, I really do. It looks nice on Nightwing, and all that. But if he were to become Blue again, I wouldn't mind one bit. The color of his outfit doesn't effect me, I survived Disco-Wing and his Rat Tail Mullet think, the red isn't going to be that hard to live with
Blue; having him wear the same dominant color as the rest of his brothers was a bad choice on DC's part.
Blue is iconic but the red grown on me. I'm fine with either. Like most said, Red eyes gotta go. Also, my complaint is the costume in which his insignia only extends to his shoulder or to his gauntlets. Nope! I like it when he has his fingerstripes and hip stripes and even a neck stripe like Brett Booth drew back on! ._. He looks distringuish in the least.
I like blue, because he's suppose to be basing his persona on the Kryptonian god/superhero. Just based on color, I like both.
I prefer the blue. I don't like how they are pushing the red into the Batuniverse other than Robin that is. In fact If I could retcon the Batman Beyond suit I would make it look more like Luke Fox's original Batwing costume. The Red over black should stay with Batwoman to signify her separation from the rest of the Batfamily and make her more unique as much as you can for someone dressed in a batcostume going by batwoman..
I've said it before, I'll say it again: Blue is better for Nightwing, from a character standpoint. He's supposed to be the only Robin who has really grown up from Robin and become his own man. Red being such a big part of the Robin costume, him donning blue instead shows that growth. Especially compared to RED Hood and RED Robin.
I like the red. I always though red and black had nice contrast and the red is kinda like honoring a bit of his Robin identity which I think is pretty cool.
