Hey guys. You think Grayson is ever going to show up in the comic?
Dick Grayson
Character » Dick Grayson appears in 9484 issues.
As the first Robin, Dick Grayson was the most famous sidekick in comic book history. As he ventured forth on his own, he formed the Teen Titans and became their leader. When the boy became a man, he became the independent hero known as Nightwing.
Nightwing in Red Hood and the Outlaws?
Cool thoughts! Keep 'em coming. I figure this whole...mess...is too ripe of an opprtunity for DC to pass up.
I think it would be interesting to see if Dick knows Kori is back or not (forgive me if this has already been addressed). I mean, he is a "son" of the Bat so the Batfamily semi-omniscience should be in effect, right?
It seems like the New 52 is trying to bring Jason back into the Bat-Family so I'm sure he will have to win over Dick before he can win over Bruce. Dick told Jason in Batman & Robin that he has something to prove. I for one would love to see Jason welcomed back into the fold.

I want him to show up in disguise--maybe wearing his old Batman uniform--because he was told by Kori to buzz off and leave her alone and he wants to honor her wishes. I'm envisioning a scene where he fogs himself down with skunk-musk to mask his scent so she won't recognize him.
Really? When did this happen? I have a confession to make: I don't actually follow Red Hood and the Outlaws closely. I know they had that whole tiff a while back when Dick finally told Donna that he didn't love Kori anymore but I don't really know much about what happened when Kori appeared in New 52
I also loved, what it took to be, that little nod to the whole Jason-Kori situation when Jason confronted Dick in Batman and Robin 10, I think: "Let's just say I'm keeping better company these days"

Oh it hasn't happened. That's my fanon explanation for why Kori "forgot" him. That her memory is linked to scent, which has some support in Lobdell's Red Hood, but hardly as clearly as I described above.

Gotcha. I just did some digging on wikipedia to try and figure out Kori's origins in New 52.
Anyone else want to see Jason emerge as Wingman for Batman Inc later and gain everyone's trust back?

Wingman?
@rogue_mar1e: Idk if those two boys could ever get along. I'd actually adore a Robins book and all the clashing personalities
Dick doesn't fit on this team period. :l
aaaand his ex-girlfriend is a member, plus his ex-junkie friend. Too much tension there
@SmoothJammin: Oh MAN! I CANT believe I didnt see that before! When I read that issue of Batman Incorporated it was really bothering me who the heck the new Wingman was and I kinda figured it would probably be one of Grant Morrisons awesome obscure references but it makes PERFECT sense that its Jason Todd! The fact that he calls him Bruce, the Red visor design and the tarnished reputation. I really cant believe I didnt see it before
@noj: I wish it was Jason and not an obscure Morrison character. The name could use some work imo, too many 'Wings and 'Bats floating around.

Yeah....not on the team. When I started the thread I was thinking more of a cameo. Like i really just want to know how he feels about Kori working with Jason and Co. And how a meeting between the two of them would go down these days

I never really got into the Batman, Inc. stuff. Just seemed....wrong to me somehow (like it takes away from the original Batman and the unique combination of drive and experience that makes bruce who he is). That being said, this would be often if jason pops up as this guy.

There is! It's called Death of the Family. Scott Snyder is starting things up in Batman #13.

Woot!
@vernierhawk001: How convenient the 4 Robins gather to strike a power ranger pose. It's 2012 forreal lol

I thought Jay was taller than Dick??
Lol.....another continuity pitfall....unless that was before New 52
@SmoothJammin: I know, right? I also find it funny how Dick is taller than everyone but didn't 52 retcon him to be shorter (more believeable as an acrobat or something like that?) And is Tim really that much shorter than Dick? He isn't that much younger is he?
Ok so I looked it up Pre-New 52 Grayson is about 5'10-5'11 and Todd is 6'. Guess new 52 it's changed now. Either way I love the pic. If you read the book they are not "striking a pose."

I'm sure he'll appear eventually, or at least have some interaction with Kori somewhere.
I'm actually looking forward to that. Hope it happens. I doubt it will do much for his relationship with Jason

It'll be interesting to be sure. Kori was one of the most important people in his life Pre-Flashpoint, along with Roy as a matter of fact, so I think that whatever relationship they have is something crucial that needs to be explained. Really, Kori doesn't seem to remember him for the most part (With this whole scent thing) so Dick probably wouldn't be too mad if he knows about that. Might even be appreciative of Jason looking out for Kori.
Weird seeing Jason hook it up with the batfam like he has in Night of Owls and B&R. Might we see a heel face turn in the coming months? Interesting

I don't think its odd at all.
He's always been on the same side as Batman when you think about it, he just doesn't agree with the methods the rest of the family uses. Jason's basically an unofficial member of the Bat-family, they won't explicitly acknowledge him as one but you know if sh*ts going down and the whole family are needed by Batman then Jason will be there to help.
I can't see a full heel face turn happening though. Jason will never stop using guns, he's taken a big step in his insistence on not taking a life unless there is no other choice (whilst also utilising non lethal shots most of the time) but I can't see him ever switching to a fully unarmed approach like the rest of the Bat-family.

So I was just reading a Lobdell interview somewhere on this site (don't ask how I got there) and I got two things out of it that relate to this forum:
1) Apparently Kori's relationship with Dick happened but they are now not on great terms
2) He seems to be trying to avoid using Dick (as an actual active character) in RHATO. I think he said that, if he appears, it won't be in the near future.
3) Lobdell also seemed to be hinting that Kori and Roy are not being planned for a romance (phew!) but.......idk

2)well he thinks that kori is defined by nightwing, so hes trying to make her stand out more or something
3)I really hope thats true, the idea of her in a romance with Roy is retarded, at least for me(especially with the whole tamaranean love being eternal and her calling Dick her soulmate even if hes not in a romantic relationship with her)

Well i'm glad there's no planned romance. I didn't expect to see Dick soon anyways, and Lobdell does have kind of a point (For once). Pre-Flashpoint it was hard to see Kori and not expect Dick to show up somewhere (I know) I think that giving her her own adventures and team is a good thing for the moment.
Wait, how are they not on great terms if Kori doesn't even really remember him? When she's been shown to have any memory of him at all they seemed to be good memories? So is she the one who messed up?

no they are on good terms, i think what hes talking about his about their breakup, she still loves him even though she doesnt remember him, eternal love and all that(that smell thing is retarded), theres this chapter in RHaTO, i think its issue 4, where she gets knocked out and she calls his name while lying in the snow
