    Can you really call batman a detective? I can't remember the last time I read about him solving crime, Heck even Zatanna is a better comic if you like detective novels, I'd put Dick Tracey at the top, I loved that as a kid, not tried Sherlock Holmes comics, but they are the best detective novels ... Unless your more into fantasy/sci fi then Dirk Gently... Now he would make a brilliant comic charecter
