    “THE VICTIM SYNDICATE” part one! Batman can’t save everyone—innocent people sometimes fall in the war against evil that he’s declared in Gotham.     Dialogue driven & full of emotion, this issue does a very good job of visiting past events while moving the plot along for the next story arc. I love seeing the damage done by Tim Drake's "death" along with the development of friendships & relationships between members of the Bat family. They could have really dropped the ball & not shown us the individuals out of costume or in their free time getting to know each other but this hints that they won't do that. Also, sets up some good...

    This issue is missing the action you'd expect to see in a Batman comic, but it's not lacking anything else. The momentum of the issue stems from dialogue and character development. Tynion does an excellent job of portraying the damage the 'loss' of Tim Drake has had on the now fragmented Bat Family and how they each, individually, attempt to recover from the hit.
