    James Tynion IV continues to knock it out of the park with his run on Detective Comics.As a team-based book, the absolute most important thing is getting the characters right, and here they continue to be written in a way that proves Tynion understands them all very well. From Kate's reconnection with Renee Montoya, to Kate and Tim slowly building a professional rapport with each other, to the amusing reactions Spoiler and Clayface have to seeing Batman getting beaten up, to Cass's quiet moments...

    When I first heard about Rebirth I was hesitant; worried it would be just like the new 52 but luckily it seems there hasn't been any drastic changes and DC has returned a lot of its greatest characters to normal. With that in mind, seeing Batman Detective Comics featuring Batwoman, one of my favorite vigilantes of Gotham caught my eye and soon the comic drew me in.
