The premiere of Arrow is less than a week away (the show premieres on Wednesday, October 10th on the CW), and if you're a fan of Green Arrow, then chances are you are anxiously anticipating the premiere of the show. While some of us have already had the opportunity to watch the show (I won't name names), it's a different experience catching the pilot episode on the night of its premiere.

    No Caption Provided

Closing in on the premiere of the show, we've also been getting information about upcoming episodes and plans for future episodes. One of the characters that has been rumored to clash with Oliver Queen on an upcoming episode of Arrow is Deadshot. You may have heard of Deadshot; he's a pretty prominent villain in the DC comics universe and is considered one of the greatest assassin's. Apparently, there is a chance that the "lone gunman" pictured below is Deadshot who is set to appear in episode three of the television show. Now we've got a great look at actor Michael Rowe as Deadshot. What do you think? Check out the rest of the images from the show, below.

Why do they always shy away from his mask? The monocle by itself looks goofy.

I hope they don't go the route of straight up psychopath when doing Dead Shot. I hope they include some of the Floyd Lawton charm.

But yeah, that headgear looks rather... goofy.  The point is to help with targeting and all that, but it's not even facing the direction he's looking.  Kind of defeats the purpose,

No doubt no doubt, but in todays World where stop lights have traffic cams, ATM cams, door cams, ally cams, cams in cell phones, business cams, a killers gotta worry about more then just his targets or noticeable witnesses spotting him. Seems like an unnecessary risk for an elite level contract killer.

An eyepiece is really a pretty simple idea. As a prop, it doesn't need to actually function, so it's just ridiculous and illogical to make it so gaudy. The lens doesn't even look like glass.

In all fairness, the normal Deadshot outfit is kind of stupid for an assassin. The monocle in that image is just so huge, and why would he need that and a scope on that rifle?

Well, most expert assassin i see on TV don't actually cover their faces. They make sure they kill and they leave.

I can't really give you any real life examples though since expert assassins don't really appear on news and they're unlikely to be your friend unless you're an expert assassin yourself. lol

lol Who said anything about real life? (though I can give you two of the more famous criminal acts in history and they both wore masks so...)

Masks and hoods are criminal/assassin trademarks. Its just part of the culture. Cept on the CW cause we all know they hire models to act instead of actors to act :)

Death STROKE is supposed to be on the show too,... but the sniper rifle does hint more at Deadshot i think. This is so cool cos i remember Deadshot in Superboy (more specifically Watery Grave,) Now that SB got his appearance on YJ and Sidearm was on a live action show, the greatest thing to happen yet would be Knockout getting more publicity! I would LOOOVE to see Superboy and Knockout on the run, with real people, though that might get screwed up cos the only actor i want as SB (Kon El) is Peter Andre,.... and he's old Yeah that'd be a terrible idea

Actually thats quite a biased statement on cw. Most of the procedurals that im watching like csi, mentalist, person of interest, criminal minds, even shows like nikita and chuck and Alias, have their serial killers and assassin not putting on masks. So i think its kinda bias to say cw hire models instead of actress and actors. We all know most of the actors on cw are actors.

@sethysquare: hahaha the CW comment was in no way meant to be taken seriously. If you wanna debate whether its normal for a comicbook assassin to wear a mask or not, make a thread and I'll meet you there. Other then that I've already expressed my opinion on the matter.

Ok on a scale of 1-5, i gotta be honest, i'd give Green Arows costume a 3 and thats being generous. it looks too much like the Young Justice Green Arow, dont get me wrong i love the show i watch every saturday. But if its the beging of green arow it should be closer to the original then gradually evolve per season or every couple of months.

it might just be the whole origin story type thing where it's deadshot behind the music, before the cool get-up (although the eye piece does look quite silly)

Kinda weird how he never appeared it Batman: TAS, but he's now appearing in Arrow. -_-. And BTW, the costume looks really stupid. Why can't live action shows/occasinal movies just make characters actually look like who they're based off of?
