I seem to be the only person reading Cable & Deadpool, but whatever. It's a great series (the one that introduced me to Deadpool :))
Anyways in C&D number 36 Deadpool fights Taskmaster manacled and wins. My question to anyone is this: Do you think Taskmaster let Deadpool win or (like Tasky admitted) is Deadpool just too good? Personally I think the latter. How about you?

No I think Deadpool beat Taskmaster cause of Tasky's arrogance. He fought him before an thought he had copied his style. But he soon realized that Deadpool is crazy and his style cant be copied. I think its a lame excuse, but still, Tasky didnt let him win.

I don't think Taskmaster let him win because he doesn't have his own free will but I think Deadpool's writers always want it to seem as if Taskmaster isn't in Deadpool's league.

I don't think Taskmaster let himself get beat. Deadpool is really good, he's just crazy so no one takes him seriously (in general, not in that fight, think TM was serious then) like TM and the military dudes were saying. I don't think TM's inability to copy DP factored in much, he just got beat.

It's not hard to accept Deadpool beating Taskmaster but when Deadpool's arms and legs were bound with rope and he still beat him...that's too far.

DP also fought better than usual because he was specifically trying to impress people. This was right after Cable made a fool out of him worldwide. :)

yeah Taskmaster is one of the main characters and teachers in the Initiative...but who knows? maybe all that would change after the SI?

in Initiative #13 i think, Pym and War Machine are warning Taskmaster about a possible hit on him...Taskmaster didn't seem worried and said "Bullseye is with the Thunderbolts, Elektra is dead again, and i don't tihnk they can send me to kill myself..." or something like that...but the never mentioned DP....maybe someone will hire Deadpool to assasinate Taskmaster???

I like deadpool and task master and I did read that ish so let me say first that I think the bottem line is TM can't kill DP as seen in said ish when TM stabed DP through the chest witch would be an end game for a lot of people. Alwright now that that has been sead I do however think that the wrighter did punk TM just a littel

"As much as I hate to say it I do believe that Deadpool beat Taskmaster purely out of skill. Yes he can be that good. He really frustrates me as a character but he is a good fighter. Taskmaster also had difficulties because his powers failed him as Deadpool was too unpredictable for him. But no, he did not just let Deadpool win.

but regardless i still think deadpool would win it's his mouth that is so distracting and aggrevating and he is just as skilled as any high tier fighter the fact that you can't put him down gives him the edge. and he was using bazooka  and a sneak atk with the dart was funny as hell. like "a grain of sand in a sand storm."
