    Deadpool visits a Zoo 0

While I admit I preferred the first issue, this second one is still enjoyable and can give you some laughs. Honestly, Deadpool #2 is not as funny as the first number of the series, because after a while, the jokes can even get a bit boring, as there's one in probably every single panel. I was also disappointed with the fact that after getting shot by Lincoln in the last issue, the Merc with a mouth wakes up only after all the zombified presidents had already left the location. Many people were co...

    Great Improvement 0

The first issue was already an improvement on Way's run on the series, but was weighed down, in my opinion, by too many jokes being forced into it. This issue, by contrast, got the balance between jokes and plot perfectly, and was much better than the previous one....

***SPOILER FREE REVIEW***I really enjoyed the first issue of the new Deadpool volume, but I felt that Wade was overshadowed by his supporting cast, and especially all the undead presidents. This issue not only does a better job making Deadpool the most prominent character (making him the focus of the comic and giving him some of the best lines), but it keeps up Deadpool's strong supporting cast as well, with all the dead presidents still one of the strong points of this series. A strong first is...

I loved the first issue of this series and I was very happy to see Deadpool get not just a good new series, but a great one. I have loved the character for a number of years now but I don't think I have read as good a start to a Deadpool story let alone series prior to this an Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan have done an amazing job with the character.PlotThis issue sees Deadpool still out for the count after being shot by Abraham Lincoln, and is dreaming about female superheroes including Invisib...

    That poor elephant 1

I was one of the five people on Earth that liked Daniel Way's take on Deadpool. I am a huge fan of Brian Posehn from his stand up (and anyone from Mr Show gets a free pass). I was excited for this series. The first issue was good not great. Not all of the jokes hit, and I missed the inner monologue.Well I'm going to chalk that up to Posehn and Gerry Duggan getting comfortable in this universe. Because the second issue was awesome.I loved the cemetery scenes with Washington and Kennedy, the fact ...

    Roosevelt II: Presidential Succession 0

Just like the first issue, this one has a spectacularly definitive 'Deadpoll' cover. The lack of a background actually works very well, and everything is very well balanced out. And the elephant with the gun in his trunk is the icing on the cake. And right after the cover we get perhaps the best 'previous issue recaps' I've ever seen. It's so funny. This issue is a lot better than the first one, and I actually definitely really enjoyed the first issue. What was missing from the first issue was a ...

classic story, classic jokes, and overall classic deadpool 0

so deadpool #1 was great, but #2 is pretty epic also. so, Micheal has brought back dead presidents to terroize people. when sheild finds out about this, they can't just send a normal superhero to fight and american president, so SHEILD hires deadpool for the job, and he's getting help from the ghost of Ben Franklin that no one else can see. is that a great plot or what?THE GOOD:i'm just gonna go ahead and say this...EVERYTHING. deadpool's funny, ben franklin is funny, and overall it's just a bla...

Deadpool is on a one man mission to save the United States from the undead Presidents. With the help of Ben Franklin, Deadpool might stand a chance against the Presidents of the past. The GoodThis first Deadpool story really credits the work of Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan. The two writers have fully embraced Deadpool's violent and comedic character to pull off a near flawless comic. While the undead is a concept that has been used before, Posehn and Duggan have implemented the concept to fit pe...

    Certainly Not Shocking 0

Similarly to the first issue, this series continues to disappoint with a plot that relies on the gimmick that it is and flat dialogue and art that do nothing but perpetuate the issue.Basically, my thoughts on the last issue sum up how I feel about this one barring a few additions. Firstly, we see Edison as an electric-based spectral advising Deadpool, supposedly replacing the voices in his head, except Edison's personality is awfully boring at best. There's nothing interesting or original about...
