Kat Farrell hates "capes" (superheroes). Unfortunately for her, that's her beat as a Daily Bugle reporter. As a mysterious new vigilante appears, leaving in his wake a body count of super-villains, it is left to Kat to solve the mystery of the Judge. Kat Farrell is introduced in this four-issue limited series, showing her interactions with the Marvel Universe's heroes and villains in order to stop the enigmatic Judge from killing again. Notable appearances by the Tinkerer, the New York franchise of the Bar With No Name, and the almost completely insignificant death the lesser-known Carjack, this series reveals the final disposition of the Tinkerer's son, Rick Mason, the Agent.
With art by Guy Davis (Sandman Mystery Theatre, B.P.R.D.) and written by Bill Rosemann, this story was reprinted in a softcover trade paperback.
