This year's biggest supernatural western tale begins here! Written by James Kuhoric (Freddy vs Jason vs Ash), illustrated by Jason Alexander (BPRD), and based on character designs and covers by Jae Lee (The Dark Tower). Dead Irons - 99 innocent souls - 6 undead monsters - 1 shot to save the world.

Three bounty hunter siblings blaze a path of death and destruction across the old west. Traveling by moonlight they rip criminals screaming for mercy from their hiding places, but none is ever given. Each bounty is torn, broken, and bled dry before they are delivered dead and payment collected in gold - no silver. The Irons are the most feared bounty hunting killers in the west, but that fear isn't based on them being the fastest with a pistol or rifle. It's because they're the Walking Dead.

    Good start, very intriguing 0

I've really gotten into the genre of Westerns lately and I'm loving the supernatural ones. I actually wasn't very impressed with Dark Tower except for the artwork; here in Dead Iron, the story is stronger than the art but it's got a dark and creepy horror vibe all throughout. If you like the 30 Days of Night style with Vincent Price story, this is for you:   ...

    Messy but not bad. 0

This is the first issue in the four part series by James Kuhoric and Jason Shawn Alexander. The writing is pretty good and intriguing but I really hope they explain more about the characters. It's a bit messy, but for the unclarity I blame the artwork. Is it just me or does every supernatural western story remind you of "The Dark Tower" novel series by Stephen King?At first I looked at the art and was like: "Oh yeah, this looks cool." but as I read further it became really hard to tell character o...
