Looking past personal opinion on this idea... and the team.  How would you have created a Dark X-Men team?

Magneto (Leader)

Namor, Emma, Bishop, Gambit, Mystique, Daken, Psylocke, Dark Beast

Magneto, Gambit, Mystique, Cloak, Dagger, Stryfe, Dark Beast

I would not have created a Dark X-Men team, the idea sucks.

X-Force.

Why are they dark?

I was trying to think if it had been done in a similar vane to the Dark Avengers (giving same codenames and costumes to those with similar powers/looks) who could have filled the positions of previous X-Men.  I came up with:

Cyclops/Angel (Calvin Rankin/Mimic)
Phoenix (Madelyne Pryor/Goblin Queen) or (Rachel Summers)
Cable (Stryfe)
Wolverine (Daken)
Archangel (Warren Worthington III)
Dazzler (Tandy Bowen/Dagger)

Thunderbird (Warpath)

All I can think of off top of my head...

But Emma is an X-Man

emma frost, professor x, mimic, dazzler, black mamba, daken, namor, dare devil.:)

Seems kinda redundant with X-Force already around, but...harder to choose now (#^@% ing M-Day)

Right, I keep forgetting Guardian is Pointer now. My point stands though. There's no reason you have to be a mutant to be on an X-team.

Thanks Buck. Cyclops was the hardest to choose, but I figured they could probably give him some suit that absorbs his energy and directs it through his eyes.
