Just out of plain curiosity. I don't follow DD much but he seems kind of a loner even when he was dragged onto the New Avengers. Every character seems to have a superhero they are closer to than most Ms. Marvel and Spider-woman for example so who is Daredevil's closest friend in the superhero community?

Spider-Man has always been close to him.

As others have already pointed out, he's pretty good friends with Spider-Man. He's also had pretty close relationships with Black Widow and Elektra (though I'm not sure if the latter counts as a "superhero" or not, though she's definitely an anti-hero).

Luke Cage for the mention as well.

Spider-Ma:n I believe this was his first encounter with a another superhero it happened around issue 14 I think. It is found in Daredevil MMW volume 2 (of cause they fight they quickly became friends though). Spider-man also outed DD early on (by a mistake) and Matt had to get a two civilian lives the other being his fake twin brother Mike Murdock.

Black Widow: Also a love interest for Matt. They worked together as a duo in San Fransisco.

Elektra: Was introduced as an old college girlfriend. They have team up on several occasions.

Luke Gage and Iron Fist: think this goes back before Frank Miller, but I'm not sure. It was brought back into play again by Bendis' after have been out for several years.

Punisher: Even though they have teamed up on some occasions they have also been in a lot of fights due to Punisher's killings and Daredevils no killing rule.

I think it might be Luke Cage now because of OMD. Not sure if Dare Devil even knows Spidey's secret Identity anymore.

Ironfist gets an honorable mention as well.

I'd say Black Cat.....hes had his horns near her lady parts. Besides her maybe Iron Fist, Cap has been a friend, cept that time he got whacked out on ice and tried to chop his head off with the shield.........

Not "BFFL" but he's relied on Reed Richards a good few times in court.

Ben Urich anyone? Not superhero, but I can't imagine one without the other.

Daredevil even says nearly word for word in the most recent issue of Daredevil spidey is his best super friend.

In the recent Daredevil runs its been Luke Cage & Iron Fist but closets of all time is definitely Spidey

And therefore nobody has mention him. Pretty simply. The questions wasn't who is DD's closes ally or friend. But superhero fried.

That is a pretty new friendship and nowhere near a best friend or close ally.

Black Widow's relationship with Hawkeye ended when Natasha resumed her identity as the Black Widow. She told him that she wanted to pursue a solo career and had to break it off with him. She became an all new Black Widow, changing her costume into an all black color. She became a vigilante and fought against common criminals in New York. Eventually Natasha would be reunited with Ivan when he comes to America, Ivan served as Natasha’s chauffeur and would occasionally give her advice. While working in New York, Natasha would encounter Daredevil.

I thought Iron Fist, and Luke Cage were best friends, plus JOhnny Storm was best Friends with SPidey (+)

I'd have to say Spider-Man. He's pretty good friends with Iron Fist but Danny's best friend is Cage. As superheroes, Spider-Man & Daredevil has an extensive history together.

I think Spider-Man is. I think Iron Fist is as well. I remember Black Widow and Daredevil were a couple at one point in time.

It's definitely Spider-Man but if we are mentioning Elektra and Black Widow then Echo should be mentioned as well.

I would say Spider-Man though, it's my POV that DD is the Captain America/Cyclops of the Street Level heroes of all Marvel.

How is that? And what do you exactly mean by this? DD is more a hell kitchen protector than somebody that cares about crime at larger plan. DD: Father gives a good insight into this subject.

Again why?

DD has more or less always (except the time he was in San Francisco for a couple of years) been based in Hell's Kitchen. Sometimes he has shown very little interest in helping other superheroes in other neighbourhoods (see DD: Father for instance). In recent years he has more received help from Cage and Spider-Man (for instance the Out story). DD has friends and allies but that doesn't mean he is the leader of the street level fighters nor a mentor. When he has gotten help or helped others it has been more about using different kind of skills than anything else.

After Infinity Crusade, Daredevil used the doppleganger Magus sent after him to fake his death. (Kingpin found his identity.) He changed his costume, started wearing body armor.

Spider-Man was still the one that went to him for help, and to remind him who he was and why he needed to come back.

Not to make light of Spider-Man's friendship with Human Torch, but DD would probably head to Spider-Man first if he needed a friend.

I'm thinking people are right about Spiderman, the two have worked with each other a number of times before and got on.

Spider-Man is the real answer but Daredevil is pretty close with alot of the most popular street levelers.
