    Thinking his wife is dead, Kingpin takes control of the mob and hires Bullseye as his assassin.

    Daredevil wakes up in an underwater pipe. He escapes and meets a group of beggars living underground.

    There's a gang war between Kingpin and his former gang with Bullseye and Daredevil playing their roles. In the end Bullseye and Daredevil fight until almost the very end, when Kingpin arrives with a surprise for Daredevil by letting him live and helping him.

    In the end epilogue, we learn that Kingpin's wife Vanessa is still alive.

     Upon reading "Gang War", the last of a 3 issue arc written by and drawn by Frank Miller ,I have to say he owns us. It's funny after rereading this story, how DD can hold his breath and navigate the NYC water system. Happy is he to be breathing even the fowl air around the vagabonds as he pulls his body thru the water pipelines. Theres a great scene in Josie's bar where DD  shows up quite alive much to Turks dismay. Turk ends up working for DareDevil. The gang war is brewing on the streets of NY...
