Is this "flashback" week at Marvel? This is the third book I've read this week that was mostly flashback (the others being Hulk and Deadpool)Anyway, this was a great issue though. The story dealt with Matt Murdock remembering a good moment dealing with Foggy. From the last issue, they are having a lovers quarrel.Stilt Man breaks into to Foggy's office to steal something, and it's up to Daredevil to chase him down. The art by Michael Allred was awesome. It was different than what we have seen on t...

I really enjoyed this issue and thought it was a nice change to have a stand alone story flashback story. Yet again great writing by Mark Waid who has done an excellent job on this series (which will hopefully rub off on Indestructible Hulk) and great art from Mike Allred this issue is really a beautiful piece of work. This issue we see Matt reflecting on the shocking end to last issue. He remembers a past argument he had with Foggy years ago during which Stilt-Man attacked Foggy with Daredevil c...

This issue has a pretty nice cover, though actually a bit of a weak one for Daredevil. Yes it's got a lot of nice touches, but it doesn't go as far above and beyond as most DD covers lately. I mean, the whole 'larger than life' size meshes brilliantly with the logo on the billboard AND ties into the story in a nice subtle level, but it just doesn't blow me out of the sky like most DD covers do. Not even close to being a bad cover though, DD's just created high standards for itself. So we've got M...

    Remember Stilt-man? 0

The GoodThis issue is a flashback story from when Nelson and Murdock was in it's early days it's an interesting story and shows that there is still hope for nelson and Murdock even though they broke up. This issue is fun and has some great emotional moments. This issue also features the return of the Stilt-man (in the past) the fight with the stilt-man is fun and also continues the theme of Daredevil using his enhanced to find weak spots in his opponents and this one was one of the best and I ho...

    Daredevil #17 - Review 0

Mark Waid, so far, may have brought us one of the best runs of the Daredevil character yet. Although this issue was enjoyable, it certainly isn't the title's best one. You see, the comic itself shows no progression on the story. While I was reading, I wondered what the point of the issue actually was, as we go all the way back to Matt's past. I liked seeing the Stilt-Man. It's a character I've seen before, and it was intriguing to see him fighting the Man without Fear. What made the action scene...
