This was one of my last interviews of the convention.  But don't worry.  I think we still have a few more videos coming...

Dan Didio was the big one for me. I remember being really nervous on the cab ride there, but he was such a good sport about the interview. Lots of fun. Dan's one of my favorite people in comics.

His mom just died, i feel real bad for him. Such a nice guy too.

I was rather impressed with this one. I like that sudden hit about asking which title is hard to sell. It was a well crafted question, and I was really interested to see what he thought. Too bad he was evasive in his response, but that's the nature of the beast.

The weekly series reminds me a lot of what they do in Japan with mangas in the tradition of Shounen Jump. Those are weekly magazines filled with several chapters of different series, average of sixteen to eighteen pages. Eventually, these chapters will be collected into manga volumes. Most series are weekly, but a handful are monthly.
My personal favorite is the Japanese murder mystery series Detective Conan. They are very much like a comic version of Sherlock Holmes.

The editors in both of the top 2 compnaies seemed cool as hell, Didio aurprisingly nice for what must have been a fectic weekend.  Good interview there Babs.  Bruce Wayne in what form?  Wow.

I could go on and on about why Dan DiDio is such a great editor. Quesada could learn a lot from him. I like how much of a variety he is open too unlike Marvel who doesn't really explore ""Cosmic" cosmic titles like Green Lantern just because the editor isn't in to it. (which by the way Quesada has said) Bravo Babs on scoring such an awesome interview!

I'm sort of ambivalent toward Dan Didio. I think he porbably has the hardest/easiest job or the easiest/hardest job on the planet depending on whether it's Tuesday or Thursday.

Babs - you did an awesome job in making him look good and sound great. I think he has to answer too manyspecific questions rather than broad conceptual questions from fans. I think fans can get nitpicky over details. great job, way to go! his is probably the best I've ever seen him.

Dan DiDio is an awesome man and an awesome executive editor. Listen to and revere in everything he says here because he's right on the ball with all of it. He's also completely square about how readers join into the series at different times in the series history. He has made many, many excellent decisions and he can keep on making them. Another awesome interview from Babs.

Dan DiDio is a really smart guy. He gets a lot of flack but I don't think he deserves it.  I am pro Dan DiDio.
