Among the ruins of the Seneca Village in Manhattan, P. T. Barnum, director of the "American Museum", and his loyal partner, General Tom Thumb, are on the verge of putting their hands on a unique creature: a vampire! Having lost his memory, Harlan Draka performs in the shows of the museum, using the new powers he got from the journey through the Black Dimension, and becomes friends with the other Barnum’s “artists”. While Caleb, Draka and his other friends are looking in vain for him in the multiverse, risking their lives against the Black Sentries, Dampyr, in the middle of the Civil War, will try to save old New York from the attack by Varkendal and the gangs allied with the Confederates, with the help of Barnum’s strange troops...
