Villain! He hates the Inhumans for being ok with a cloud that kills mutants so he's bad for taking action against them in some fashion!!

He's controversial. In the last run he portrayed a hero with a questionable direction and motives but at the end of the day his whole rebellion was a bluff and eventually put all the mutants in the world on capital hill to show they can all be peaceful but some still say he's crazy. I think it's just your opinion on what he is. Sucks marvel keeps trying to bury him and replace with a crappy teen version.

He use to be a hero and my favorite X-Character but not a hero anymore. It was a slow steady change but really jumped the shark when AvX came along. It just got worse after that.

I loved Cyclops as a kid but the more comics I read of his the more I hated him and he more of a villain he became.

Depends on what perspective you're looking at it from.

He's an antihero now but he used to be a great hero and a first rate leader.
