Conan
Character » Conan appears in 4757 issues.
Conan was a wandering fighter, mercenary, thief, and eventually King, who traveled ancient lands in the Hyborian Age living by his wits and physical prowess.
Conan the Barbarian has been casted!!
After quite a tough competition between three muscular hunks for the honor of being the next ‘Conan The Barbarian,’ the role finally went to Jason Momoa. The losers are ‘Twilight’’s Kellan Lutz and ‘Supernatural’’s Jared Padalecki.
Apparently a secret source at Lionsgate says that not only is Momoa the most experienced actor out of the three, but his test was much better than his fellow beefcakes. Now Mickey Rourke has been approached to play Conan’s father, Corin, but the ‘’ has yet to reply to that offer. We wonder what the Governator has to say on this matter, since he was the original 80’s Conan.
Do you think ‘Conan’ producers have made a good casting choice? Let your voices be heard!

" he is ronan from the stargate atlantis the muscle and sometimes comic escape "overall is he a good actor?
he looks like he is in the needs of steroids for the conan role.

not to be negative though, just calling it like it is.
like i said the good thing is he can dedicate himself 150%,
and has alot of time. he's not doing squat otherwise, and this
will easily be the highest paying gig of his career. look at
Hugh Jackman and Arnold. it was the same deal with them.
...maybe. personally outside of that i think he's kind of a crappy choice.
Wow, if this is true, I'm kinda let down. He doesn't seem to be quite right, but like EXE pointed out, at the very least, he can be dedicated to it.
Well, Jake Gyllenhal (sp?) put on a bunch of muscle for Prince of Persia.......maybe Mr. Momoa here will be able to pull it off.
Also, I can't believe that I never heard that Jared Padelecki was in the running to play Conan. I would've had a heart-attack for numerous reasons had that come to pass.
nahhhh he isnt conan. this will be not so good i think but then again i dont really know any huge guys that can play conan right now
I've already posted this forum and no. I don't think this guy would be a good conan. Why didn't they use Jeffery Dean Morgan? He's bulked up and he fits the role. But this dude up there. He doesn't stand a chance. Jason needs to bulk up a little. Or how about Gerard Butler. He just needs to lose the beard and grow a lot of hair. 'Nuff said bastitches.
im so fraggin' pissed now, this schmuck is not Conan and will never be. if this is true I hate hollywood. Conan is one of my favorite characters of all time. if this is real i swear to the first primate that i will, not watch the film, and will literally stand outside the theater and protest it. i'll even record it and post it on youtube. I promise. RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
