    My friend really likes Conan, and I've bought him a few odd comics in the past, but his birthday is coming up, what are good Conan stories?

    Tower of the Elephant, the Scarlet Citadel, and Black Colossus were always favorites of mine.

    Just get him the Del Rey editions, if he doesn't already have those. These contain all of the original Conan stories by REH. Avoid the pastiches, as most are crap.
