Not much is known about Coldsnap except that he's in love with fellow teammate Heatstroke. Coldsnap gave himself cold powers and his fellow teammate fire based powers. They joined the organization Masters of Disaster as mercenaries. They wanted to steal enough money to be normal. They eventually became a monstrosity that combined themselves into a being called Heatsnap. Batman and Aztek defeated them and while in prison, Bruce Wayne paid the medical bills to seperate them.

Coldsnap and Heatwave were being transported to Belle Reve prison with Deadshot. Heatstroke and New-Wave attempted to free them in transition when they were stopped and incarcerated by the guards.
