We're going after them!
Tony and the F.D.A. look into Savoy kidnapping Olive and Amelia, however, the kidnapping might not actually be one!
The apparent kidnapping, last issue, has led to this amazing issue! Though, Applebee and Caesar's new cybernetic body parts are on the cover of this issue and show up briefly as well, this issue focuses primarily on the kidnapping. Writer John Layman really did a phenomenal job with this issue, having established a couple of things to look forward to; all while telling a really intriguing story! It was cool to see Tony use his powers to piece together the entire series of events in this issue, which were an angered Olive leading Savoy and Amelia on taking down one of the Collector's top killers, the Jellassassins.
Throughout Tony's realization on the series of events with his daughter, wife, and Savoy by the end of the issue, Tony is more-or-less back to his old ways. (Without all the blind anger from last issue.) Which is understandable after finding out that his daughter really wants nothing to do with him. And while that has been clear to us, the readers, for some time now, it really hits Tony with full effect. And I like seeing that kind of emotion/character development in a series that is crazy funny, in a good way, 90% of the time. However, that 10% is always enough to remind readers that, even though this series is adult humor it does still have moments where the characters, like Tony in this case, get hit right in the feels! So, it was good to see Tony get slapped back to reality, all while seeing a new, more dominating, side of Olive in this issue.
In conclusion, this is definitely an issue worth reading! 5 out of 5.
