Cheetah

Origin

Esteban Carracus was transformed into the Cheetah by Sentry #459. Cheetah and the Sentry teamed up and attacked Mexico City. After the two defeated Captain Marvel, they made their way to Texas. They crossed the border near a containment unit holding Ronan The Accuser. When Captain Marvel recovered, he rushed to the farm the villains were at. During the fight Ronan escaped and joined the fight. Captain Marvel destroys the Sentry, causing Cheetah to lose his powers.

Cheetah was invited by Gary Gilbert to attend a meeting of costumed criminals at the Bar With No Name. The meeting was about how to deal with the Scourge of the Underworld. The bartender revealed himself to be Scourge, and killed almost everyone in attendance. Cheetah's corpse was present when Water Wizard brought Captain America to the bar to see what happened.

Arnim Zola retrieved DNA from Cheetah to create the Cheetah proto-husk. Arnim Zola created numerous proto-husks from DNA samples of deceased heroes and villains whom he called his Corpse Corps. These resurrected husks would secure riches to fund his genetic experiments but come into conflict with Deadpool after Animus steals some files from him. Deadpool systematically guns down this army of resurrected rejects and defeats Arnim Zola.

Dark Reign

Currently the Hood has resurrected several victims killed by the Scourge of the Underworld including Cheetah. The Hood told his new army that the Scourge was secretly the Punisher and he has ordered them to eliminate Frank Castle. The spell that brought them back to life only lasts thirty days and only the Hood can extend their lives. The Hood will only extend their lives when they bring him Castle's head. Mirage devises a plan and uses his upgraded powers to disguise Cheetah and other members of the resurrected crew as the Avengers during their hunt for Frank Castle. Cheetah was disguised as Beast but gets killed when the Punisher hits him with his motorcycle and breaks his neck.

Powers and Abilities:

His cheetah physiology gives him incredible strength speed and durability, sharp claws and fangs. He also has an enhanced sense of smell that he can use to track others.
