BIOGRAPHY:

Charqwep is a member of an unusual species rarely seen among the cosmos. His race has long cylindrical bodies with multiple frond-like arms at the lower end and numerous mind-pods exposed at the top.

Charqwep has been a Green Lantern for many years and is a well-respected veteran of the Green Lantern Corps. When the Corps was reborn, Charqwep, like many veterans, reenlisted and resumed patrolling Space Sector 501.

Charqwep is known most famously for being one of the nearly one hundred Green Lanterns that invaded the planet Qward to destroy the Anti-Green Lantern Corps.

During that battle, Charqwep fought fiercely against the Anti-Lanterns. He was wounded by a blast from one of the Anti-Lantern's anti-matter rings and sustained damage to one of his mind-pods.

Charqwep sustained some brain damage as a result of this injury. Since that time, he has on occasion exhibited difficulty in controlling his constructs. Nevertheless, this limitation has not stopped Charqwep from fulfilling his duties as a Green Lantern.
