Origin
A daughter of Limbo Town, Charity married Mordecai Bleak, but had an affair with Ebeneezer Badde which produced at least one child, Klarion, of her two known children.
Creation
Charity was created by Grant Morrison and Frazer Irving. She made her first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Klarion #1

Seven Soldiers of Victory
Charity encourages her rebellious son to remain in Limbo Town and heed his elders. When Klarion returns from Blue Rafters to warn of the coming invasion by Melmoth, Charity is among those who prepare to burn him at the stake. When Melmoth and his men arrive, she joins several other witch-women in directing the grundymen against Melmoth's men. When the battle is over, she helps separate Klarion and Teekl from the Horigal, and tries to encourage him to remain behind and take the role of the village Submissionary, which he refuses.
Powers and Abilities
Charity is a witch-woman, capable of wielding magic to a variety of effects, including energy projection and necromancy. She possesses an innate psychic bond with her familiar, and is able to see through its eyes.
