imo the writing is incredible as always & the art is simply amazing.
i definitely recommend it =)

I wouldn't call it incredible exactly, but the second issue was far better than the first. I do like the art though.
 
My biggest issue is that all the Marvel Earth writers seem to forget that Marvel has a cosmic storyline and that usually they are plucking characters out of major events. And that they "created" another cosmic being equal to Eternity. How many do we need? Enough already!

I just want to know if some of the dead X-Men/Avengers survive or if they have to go back to restore balance or something.
And where is Jack of Hearts? He was next!

Incredible Hulks #618 - 619 "

Not hating it, but not liking it either, just feels kinda meh to me. I'll keep buying it tho maybe one of the tie-in's will pull-me-in

Chaos King is based on Amatsu Mikaboshi, character from Japanesse mythology. As Mikaboshi, he appeared in 2006, Nekron, while existing for decades, has been more of wanting to control and gets more power, and has to be revamped to be what he is and this verison of him appeared first in Blackest Night. If somebody is an rip-off here, it's Nekron. Plus, Nekron wanted to kill everything, he didn't cared about the Universe but life, he was more like Annihilus or Thanos that way. Mikaboshi wants ultimate and complete destruction, to undo creation. Also, Nekron in Blackest Night was more of an manipulator, rather defeating enemies with his gambits and plans and hannibal lectures of Black Lanterns, than in combat. Mikaboshi has somebody who planns for him, and is doing all heavy action. The only thing Nekron did in BN was really just STANDIND THERE, even Spectre was defeated by him doing nothing. Chaos King engages in direct combat, he destroys everything personally, especially if he fights with powerfull enemies. Nekron didn't do anything until Entity appeared. Chaos King at this point took loads of incredibly powerfull characters, all by himself.  Nekron will be remembered as dude who played Lich King Arthas in the middle of a giant battle. Mikaboshi will be remembered as the guy who killed countless numbers of gods and godlike characters by himself. "

Is the checklist the proper way to read this? I've been interested in picking this up, but I don't know the order... I can tell the beginning point is obviously Chaos War #1... 

Not bashing the story or anything because I am a fan so far but I do have a few questions. 1.) Was there not already characters such as Oblivion and Entropy that are the same thing as Chaos King essentially? and 2.) If this is effecting the entire universe why have we not seen the Tribunal? (I know itd be a cop out cheap way of ending the story, and he usually doesnt get involved much anyway.) and 3.) I hadnt been keeping up with Hercules prior to this, what causes him to be so much more powerful than a normal skyfathr?  just thought i could hear some oppinions
