Rebecca Romajin is hot,but she was already Mystique.Don't you think it would be kind of weird if she debuted as Ms.Marvel? In all honesty I think directors would offer the part to Ali Larter.She's young,she has experience playing a hero,and although she's not A list she's a new face.She's an upcoming actress.
she was depicted as an alcoholic semi aged drunk lose woman in the 90's..... i think heather graham could look more attractive then how she was depicted back then.. it looks like more recently artist have de aged her quiet a bit...
@Vance Astro: Good point on Romajin, although I don't see the X-Men and Ms. Marvel crossing pathes as long as Sony controls the X-Men's movie fate. I just don't see Ali as Ms. Marvel, I can't put my finger on it so I don't really have a good reason for it. Although if they did make the movie and cast her I would still go see it and wouldn't complain about the casting either.

Theron is the best pic in this thread. she brings more acting and presence to it than any of the others can even hope to, and thats the number one factor, everything else can be worked out.
dude, scarlet is doing the iron man and avenger films, charlize would be good for the part and so would yvonne. either one of them could do it, more likely it would probably be yvonne stahovski because her career is barely taking off

I hope I'm not the only one to see the humor in suggesting Rebecca Romajin to play Carol... (since she's already portrayed Mystique, one of Ms. Marvel's longest-running 616 canon adversaries).

That's what would make it an excellent casting choice. Besides the fact you will never see Ms. Marvel and Mystique in the same movie, also she already knows what it takes to play in a Marvel movie.
As a Ms. Marvel fan, I agree 100% about the specific nature/look/feel that Ms. Marvel would have to have in order for true fans to be satisfied (i.e. CastleKing gave a brief description in an earlier post, which I agree with as far as the "gist" ;-). So, I've been surfing though the web checking out some of the suggestions for possibles (including those mentioned in this post), and I would NEVER ever disagree with ANY of the choices for Ms. Marvel (they're ALL good choices), and I'm SOO not, but I came across an unknown actress (really unknown) and after some comparisons, I truly think she deserves a definite honest mention to have her name thrown in as a very real possibility.
Her name is Amelia Scott, and she REALLY fits the ENTIRE package (IMHO of course), but as she's unknown, the ONLY way to really judge for yourselves is to check out the MySpace page dedicated to this subject:

She does look like Carol, but i doubt this will be heard by the studios, but good luck with that anyways!

I know it's a long shot, but after going through so many Ms. Marvel comics, I just know this actress is a perfect fit - and most probably no one from the Hollywood world will ever hear (or see) this, but I just had to get it out there somehow (besides, you never know ;-), so thanks again.

How about Yvonne Strahovski? There's been an internet petition to have her play Ms. Marvel in the Avengers
Either of them would be acceptable. Neither makes me go "OMG YEAH IT'S TOTALLY HER!!1" or anything but they fit the rough visual requirements and both can act. They'd have to put on some muscle though.
