    After encountering the Kree hero Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was accidentally subjected to otherworldly radiation that transformed her into a superhuman warrior. Calling herself Ms. Marvel, she established herself as one of the most powerful and prominent heroes and respected member of the Avengers. She has now adopted the mantle of Captain Marvel for herself.

    So First she's a casual date and now a sidekick?

    Does anyone realize that Ms.Marvel is in no future Avengers solicits but she is in future previews for Spider-Man? Also after that date her and Spider-Man have been hanging out alot.He was the last person she talked to in her last issue.What's going to happen to Carol.Is she just going to be Spidey's sidekick or will Marvel give her the respect she deserves again?

I just think it is kinda crap that she would be put on the side team rather than the headlining Avengers title while Spider-Woman, who I still love dearly, get the title when she hasn't really been to active up until just very recently.

    She IS on the cover.That cover just came out though.Solicits for Heroic Age had been coming out for months now and she wasn't in anything.

    I love spidey and Carol as a couple! DUMP MARYLAME ALREADY!C (sorry for the horrible pun) But MJ reminds me of Princess peach you know instead of Mario comen to the rescue its spiderman! And plus they ARE my fav. charcters spiderman & Carol.

    Check Ms. Marvel #47. It is basically stand-alone and is pretty good, whole date is summed up into her and Spidey basically bonding over similarities.

    i dont see her in the Spider-Man books either, at least not persay.
    she is in the Spider-Man Siege book, but that would have to do with the fact
    that the New Avengers are confronting the Dark Avengers, with Spider-man,
    Carol and venom being part of either side.

    Ms. Marvel should be dating one of the Cap's. Either Buck or Steve. I mean, come on, Sharon Carter let herself get hypnotized to shoot Steve, and we all know hypnosis only makes you do thing's you want to, and as far as Buck and widow together..... well, who hasn't she been with? And Spidey and Carol!?! Please. Not even in bizarro world, and that's an entirely different universe all together!

    Cap and Carol aren't so obviously good together.In fact she has more chemistry and more history with Tony Stark. 
    Cap dating Carol would be like Superman dating Wonder Woman it's so obvious they are similar in characteristics and have quite an extensive history together but their relationship will never be romantic.Or like Wolverine being with Storm.He's the most popular X-man,she's the second most popular X-woman next to Jean and so many things suggested they would be together but then she ended up with Black Panther and never dated Logan.

    Yeah, but my point is why can't the obvious date? I mean, in Kingdom Come, Supes and Wondy get it on, sure it takes forever to get there but it eventually happened, and it seems like the current DCU is being structured with remnants of Kingdom Come, so it might actually happen. And Storm and Black Panther felt forced to me...

    I'm not saying they can't.I'm just saying it's usually happens the other way around.Kingdom Come isn't the regular DCU continuity.Supes is with Lois.Storm and Black Panther may have seemed forced to you but anyone who REALLY follows Storm knows T'Challa was her first love and that was established years ago.

    I'm certain Ms. Marvel will get another book soon and that she'll be in the new New Avengers line-up. I personaly would like to see a brother-sister relationship between the two. I personally would love to see Carol and Bucky together. (Holds up club) and I'm waiting for Marvel's little explanation for the PeterXMJ promo art for 2010.

    a cap marvel relationship would not be exciting for a couple of reasons one being yeah they are TOO a like just kind of scrips would be writen for them...
     
    it would be like a freaken romance novel that no one realy likes
     
    now Spidey and Marvel would be difrent fun dynamic thats whats so great about spider-man or peter parker he is a nerd and a fuy guy with awcward hummor to join him up with ms.marvel a more uptight and dedacated hero who most of the time folows the rules would be awsome now there would be some interesting conversation it would be fun and interesting to read.
     
    still i think she and spidey will end up like realy close friends, brother and sister kind of thing.

    Yeah I do agree with you in those aspects, (though I still think Ms. Marvel and Bucky-Cap would be cute). Ultimately I would love to see a Brother-Sister thing with Peter and Carol simply because of their "oposites attract" dynamic. Although as an actual romantic pairing, Ms. Marvel actually only takes second place to Mary Jane for me. In a universe without MJ, God/Quesada forbid, I think that Spidey and Ms. Marvel would make a cute couple.

    Why would she like a d-bag like Peter Parker? That would make no sense if they got together. No, I think the writers realized this would be a bad idea and that's why nothing came of it. She should stay single for now.

    I think it actually sounds like a good idea for peter and Carol together.  She's better than a lot of the girls Peter dated.  Peter deserves a nice girl after what he went through these past years. Also Carol will never be a sidekick and Peter is not a douchebag!!

    I completely agree!! I sort of like MJ, but she is old news now!! She let Spidey sell their marriage to Mephisto(the devil)!!! That doesn't sound like a healthy relationship!!! Spidey has to move on, and why not move on to some Avenger tail? He need his dues!!! I say either Ms Marvel or Jessica Jones( and that aint happening with Cage in the way!!)

    Comic book couples don't work.Ms.Marvel was better off with Simon (Wonder Man) because he's not a popular as she is thus she won't end up playing the background to someone like Spider-Man.Spider-Man doesn't need to be in a relationship with a superhero..it simply doesn't work for him and his style of character.

    doesn't matter ,everyone got their own opinion ,if the writer like ms.marvel/spider-man ,it probably would happen ,but wonderman/ms.marvel seem going to history.
