^^ I've only seen one decent cosplay attempt at Carol, and this is not it (and the one I know of isn't great either). Actually, most cosplay attempts tend to suck.

other than her boots cutting off the circulation in her legs i don't hate it, and i tend to hate everything.

I don't hate the costume persay (although the boots bother me too...they're a 2-piece thing, and the upper piece, like you said, is too tight), but she doesn't look the part. She looks like one of the 60s-70s Bond girls.

Like I posted in an earlier thread, I think that "wierd" language is Kree. My theory is that Carol is taking on more of Binary, and maybe her powers are cosmically augmented? This may be a whole new take on Carol. I think even the artist (no idea who it is) is taking a different approach to her.

I've seen a couple pages, but no. My stupid local comic store shut down, and the manga and normal book stores don't have any decent titles, so I'm still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I'm not happy about that either. "

OK I'm confused here.  Carol is supposed to be dead right?  Then how is she in the New Avengers?  Did I miss something?

Karla is one of the greatest, and the most scary, villain of all time.  Carol is just a little mean for me.

Sharon Ventura was a better Ms.Marvel than Karla.

Do you think they are going to kill her off? Her series is ending with issue 50 along with all the avengers titles.  I think they are condensing down to just one Avengers team again and she may not be on it for whatever reason....

glad she didnt die. im okay with her just taking time off. 
i think thats legit. issue was okay but nothing spectacular.
the conversation with Spider-Man and her speeches kind of took
to many pages.

doubt that in the highest regard. Bendis doesnt write he book and that Skrull was already dealt
with.

I was kinda disappointed in the issue as a whole, but I to am glad she isn't dead. I understand wanting to take a brake, but I certainly hope they don't renumber the issues at a later date, even if they don't start for another year or two.

wanted to add that hope Ultragirl takes back up the Ms.Marvel mantle in her absence,
though, curiously as Karla is going to be in the Heroic Age Thunderbolts roster I wonder
