Well, this book should be right up there giving the characters and writer involved but, for the moment, it hasn't really kicked into gear. The four issue Guns of Avalon arc certainly had its strong points - the whole evocation of magic Albion (Alan Moore would presumably be pleased), the introduction of Faiza Hussain, a genuinely engaging and intelligent character. However, my main gripe is that this reminds me of the sort of story that a writer would have put into a book's debut issue back in...

WOW!! This book could easily be one of the better titles produced by Marvel comics, hands down. Captain Britain and his team defend the world of English magic from the Skrull Invasion. Quite effectively and in an exciting fashion also. The writing is very solid on this title. Each character is given their own distinct voice, so you do not have six different versions of Wolverine. I am particularly a fan of the new Black Knight and the character called Faiza. Their interactions really make this ...
