    @DarkKnight96000: Well, he's connected to the quantum field. Thus, he has vast control over energy and some control over matter. As the quantum field, like other fields, is directly related to spacetime, he can also travel through time. He has some very impressive feats under his wing. I'll try to get Static Shock in here. Static knows even more about Cap Atom than I do.

    Yeah, but his skin making him a being of matter and energy is the result of its connection to the quantum field.

    @Static Shock: Static, I was wondering. Have you ever been to DC wikia's Captain Atom page? And if so, would you recommend it? I'm just wondering because DC and Marvel wiki's aren't always the most reliable, and I think you know more about Cap Atom than I do.

    His DC wikia page is mostly accurate. I would recommend, save for a few small details.

    @Static Shock: Just checking because I have looked over it a few times, and to me, it seemed accurate. I just wanted someone else's opinion. Okay, this is off-topic, but I was wondering if you could check out a thread I made. It's called Amazo vs. JLA/Avengers Team. In case you'r wondering, I don't know why I'm so focused on making Amazo battle threads (even if this is only the second I've done). It is much shorter than the last one. So that should make it less complicated. If you're interested, look it up.

    You clearly know exactly what you are talking about and are not talking out of your @ss at all. You seem especially impressive when you use words like 'thus'. Tell me, what is 'the' quantum field?

    @DarkKnight96000: Why would he need to when being covered in the metal gives him abilities based on the Quantum Field? He's already a being of matter and energy when covered in the metal.

    @DarkKnight96000: Yes. His ability to use the Quantum Field is based on his willpower and how he uses it. With conscious thought and/or instinct, he can use the Quantum Field to increase his physical strength (which is already on par with Superman), any of his senses (used it to enhance his hearing and eyesight, IIRC), any other physical attributes (has done so for his strength, flight speed, stamina, etc), and the potency of his Quantum energy blasts. As far as giving himself powers he doesn't have, it's a theoretical possibility since the Quantum Field has various uses. Other than his usual powers, he was able to use the Quantum Field (in conjunction with meditations) to enter the Astral Plane. Also, within the Astral Plane, he was able to use the Quantum Field to alter the size of his essence, making himself a giant.
