    Captain America

Character » Captain America appears in 11750 issues.

During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.

If Christopher Nolan made a Captain America film?

    1. The fights would suck.
    2. Cap would spend more time reflecting on his earlier life.
    3. Cap's disillusion to what the world has become would of been better handled.

He would have been a less likable character because the movie would focus too much on what he is than who he is.

I think he would make it his own similar to what he did with the Batman character it would work as a film as opposed to a comic book movie.

Yeah. The Winter Soldier was one of the best comic book films. But Nolan would help flesh out the character more.

It would be incredible. It would focus more on societies relationship with Captain America. It would probably question the morality of black operations, and the use of drugs on American soldiers. And at the very least, it would have given us a more developed and a better delivered Red Skull.

The greater the villain, the greater the hero. And after watching The Prestige, Batman Begins, And The Dark Knight, I have no doubt in my mind that the director in question could have delivered.

And The Prestige is probably Nolan's most underrated movie.

The Prestige isn't underrated. It's in the IMDb and Reddit Top 250.

He would've delivered on a great standalone film, but a Captain America film that doesn't resemble Captain America.

No, no thank you. He is a top filmmaker, but no. I would however wished someone else directed the first one. Joe Johnston is a mediocre director. They should have gotten someone better.

Hate? Where? I see no hatred here, he is an awesome director but his style and how he views things just wouldn't be right for the Captain America character.

Probably more focus on the HC and the War. He did make Inception and Interstellar. Prestige was really personal in showing who the characters/rivalry was.

Idk, if it was about making Capt close to the reality like the Nolanverse(and all his spawns).

The SSS would have been grounded in reality and made a permanent steroid type deal. Cap wouldn't have been super human but thankfully the people he fought against would go down without being hit.

Dark and gloomy. Fights would suck. He would focus on cap feeling like he is a man out of time and struggling to find his place in the world. Probably would be a decent movie. I like what the russos have done

He could make Cap more realistic , probably depict his struggles with society , struggles with self , make the movie more about war struggles and the fights would be more realistic instead of cap being able to lift a full speed motorcycle

Nolan does his best with characters like Cap and Batman
