    Believed dead near the end of World War II only to have been found and brainwashed by the Soviets for the next 50 years, Captain America's former sidekick now continues to defend his country from the shadows against those who would threaten it as legendary spy and assassin, the Winter Soldier. He became the new Captain America to honor his friend Steve and he joined the Avengers. When Steve returned as Captain America, Bucky took on the identity of the Winter Soldier once again.

    Looking for a flashback story of Winter Soldier...

    I remember I have read this story: Once Bucky (he was Bucky Cap at that time) told Ms. Marvel a past story. During the Cold War when he was Winter Soldier, once while he was torturing a U.S. soldier (or spy), that guy hit his head and caused his memory back. (Right, that’s stupid, but it’s a short story so it has to be simply.) He helped the soldier to escape, but he himself was captured and gotten brainwashed again. The bitter March reminds me this short story. It should be in some Avengers special issue during 2009-2011, but I just can’t find it. Please help me. I am editing a Winter Soldier chronicle. Thanks.

    Sorry man, I don't know that issue. must be New Avengers though.
