He became the new Captain America to honor his friend Steve and he joined the Avengers. When Steve returned as Captain America, Bucky took on the identity of the Winter Soldier once again.

    Yea, Bucky was about 17 or 18 during WW2 with Cap, making him in his 70's now.

    If you mean, how old does he look due to being kept in stasis in between missions as Winter Soldier, he's probably late 20's to mid 30's.

    He was 16-20 (almost 21) during WWII (which did take five years, remember). Then he was on stasis until 1954, and was out for a while. Nick Fury said in 1976 he was five years older than in 1955 thanks to being frozen. So, 21 in 1954, 22 in 1955, 27 in 1976. Then when he was reintroduced in the modern age, he was three years older than 1976. So, thirty. Plus, say, maybe a year since he came back. So 31 or 32 or so.
