    2nd Issue Letdown

I was excited to pick up the first issue of this series, and my expectations were exceeded. In waiting for months for the second issue, I have to say, it was certainly a bore.

The premise of this series is good, the characters seem to be shaping up nicely, but except for the scenes where Amadeus learns that he is going to have to learn how to live with powers, the rest of the issue is a waste of time. Some small banter between characters is amusing, but does not really move the story forward. Most of the rest of the issue is Albert wanting to talk about his friends' discovery, but them telling them they can't in public.

Perhaps of this issue came out 4 weeks instead of 4 months later, it would be okay. For this kind of wait, the title serious didn't deliver. I am going to stick it out for a while, but if it continues like this, even Bagley's art will not keep me picking this title up.
