    Origin

    Brian Xavier was the father of Charles Xavier and working as a scientist employed in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He and his co-worker Kurt Marko (the father of Cain Marko, aka the Juggernaut) where working on complicated experiments. Although Brian didn't have any problems with Kurt, Kurt himself saw a bitter rivalry between the two.

    Brian Xavier was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

    Major Story Arcs

    Death

    While Brian and Kurt where working on an extremely dangerous experiment, an accidental nuclear explosion occurred. It set the workplace ablaze. While Brian was trapped between the rubble, his co-worker Kurt Marko was free to move. He had a chance to rescue Brian, but ran of and left Brian to die. Brian Xavier died that day.

    After Death

    Later on Kurt Marko would marry Brian's now widowed wife, Sharon Xavier. Sharon thought they grew together because of their shared grief for the loss of their husband and coworker, while Kurt was actually just trying to get Sharon. For Charles Xavier, the loss of his father had a great impact on his life, since Kurt and his now stepbrother Cain would come to live at the mansion.

    Powers and Abilities

    Although the father of the extremely powerful Charles Xavier, Brian was not a mutant and possessed no special powers.
