    We finally arrived at the final arc. The entire story of Bleach was for the sake of this arc. I’m happy that I was able to do everything as I wanted. Tite Kubo on Bleach #55

    BLEACH enters its final arc, "The Thousand-Year Blood War".

    A declaration of war is sent to the Soul Society from the mysterious Vandenreich, an army of quincies controlled by an ancient enemy of Captain Yamamoto. Meanwhile, Ichigo and his friends ventures once more to Hueco Mundo already under the grip of the new enemy.
