I was watching First Avenger, Hulk, etc. And I wondered, where did the Marvel movie madness started, and then I thought Blade. Ironically, the movies are FAR better than the Comics, and looking back at how much of a success it was, it was Blade that started off the Marvel movies. Personally I don't care for the Comics but I loved Snipes as Blade, was badass.

Blade 2 was better though.

I honestly really enjoyed this movie, and was one of my favorite as a kid. I loved how awesome Blade was with all the Superpowers, cool weapons, and sweet rides. The music is still awesome to me, and this movie still rates pretty high on my Hero vs Henchmen list. Now it's no Joss Whedon film, but it does the job, and tells a decent story. I also thought Blade had some of the coolest fight scene music (Age of Techno! :P ) Blade II was alright as well. Some people liked it better, but I wasn't one of those. Blade Trinity is pretty much what killed Blade's reputation though. Still the the original movie and Wesley Snipes turned out to be what I think of every time someone mentions the character too me.

It was awesome. Easily one of my favorite movies, and I still enjoy how Blade was portrayed to this day.

I loved Blade and the sequel, Blade 2. Blade Trinity was where it fell off though, I have the trilogy somewhere I might dig it out of my shelf and watch them tonight.

Me too. I've heard alot about blade this and blade that lately.

The first two were really awesome. The third one sucked. It wasn't horrible just weak in comparison.

It was dope, Especially at the very end.

I always found the Blade movies to be a snooze-fest.

First Blade was good. Blade II.... I lost interest after Donnie Yen kicked the bucket. I'll probably get around to seeing Blade III eventually.

I need to watch this again because honestly, I don't trust the opinion of a 13 year-old k4tz who thought it was (if my memory serves me right) "violent and cool."

Its a great movie the second is considered better and it is but I like em both,shame I cant say the same for the third one.
