    Origin

    Aline Pagrovna was a depressive girl, a wallflower ignored by boys and saw herself destined for an unexciting future. Rather than commit suicide, she opted to undergo the Morituri Process, so that she could die with the glory of being a hero.

    Creation

    Blackthorne was created by Peter Gillis and Brent Anderson and first appeared in Strikeforce: Morituri #1.
