    This series which started off strong and then slowed down a bit finishes here on a strong note.  The main action here is between Conner and Clark vs. Kal-L, but as the issue plays out the action with Supergirl on New Krypton and between Black Lois and Ma is a lot more engaging.  In fact I am not sure if I have seen a battle ever where the main protagonists are Ma Kent and Krypto, but I really liked this part.  As in the last issue the Psycho Pirate feels a little underutilized here (though his p...

    Ok, if you know anything about the first two parts of this mini, you can pretty much guess the way this third installment rolesout.   I've gotta say, so far both " Blackest Night Batman" and " BN Superman" have both done the same thing: brought some interesting thoughts and awesome confrontations to the table... and then kinda petered out at the finish.     Similar to Blackest Night: Batman, Blackest Night: Superman is a bit of a let down after starting out strong. I would have rather have seen less of this story line shown in Blackest Night proper instead of having it's own mini. That would make DC less money though so fair enough. Going forward these two minis will weigh heavily on my mind when I ponder picking up more of the Blackest Night: [Insert Hero Here] minis, guess what there are more on the way folks. On the topic of the actual book, Bla...
