    This issue reaches a sort of breaking point for the heroes in their battles against the Black Lanterns.  What is left of the Justice League is facing off against the other half of the Justice League (that is to say the Black Lantern versions) and despite the introduction of Firestorm and Mera, things do not seem to be going their way, that is until the Indigo Tribe shows up.  This leads to an interesting standoff between Hal and Barry, but also as the issue progresses a kind of heartbreaking chain of events occurs to Firestorm.  This issue definitely changed the tone of the series for me, away from an action and plot based story, the writer here has really succeeded in making the Black Lanterns appear to be truly evil.  That having been said this was an excellent issue and progressed the story quite well.

      Since the beginning of the main series and through all the related tie-ins, Blackest Night has been all about crazy, high-impact action.       I have been reading Blackest Night and I must say Im impressed. DC comics never really interested me. Though I have sold my wallet's soul many of times at Best Buy or Wal-Mart to get a hold of one of their animated features. But Blackest Night sucked me in and I had sworn off comics for a long time until last year following the death of Michael Turner.
