Commander Sun is in critical care at the hospital and Maggie runs into more of those demons. Thanks to the pearl, she is able to draw upon it's power to defeat them. Hoping to get answers about the item, she visits her mother who had painted an image of the pearl during their last visit. When her mother touches her hands, the power of the pearl is unleashed and the two share images of her mother's past that question her relationship with her Uncle. Angry, Maggie pays a visit to Zhao demanding answers and the true identity of her father is revealed.
