based on what?,when they fought nothing in that fight suggested that he is more powerful,He hits her once by surprise,she dodges his next attack and then kicks him,they smash into each other sending them into chaos where Hermes and Mercury are fighting.She snares him with the Lasso then Mercury's Caduceus explodes separating them and that was it,he wasn't shown owning her at all,the fight was not even enough to call it an stalemate.
why is it that people always ASSUME that the powerhouse Diana is facing is stronger faster and mroe durable than her?. Happens in almost every thread i see where she faces similar powerhouses and even mid powerhouses like ms marvel,Thing,Cyborg,she-hulk,etc,people say CM has the strength of Hercules? Speed of Mercury? Diana's basic motto says she's strongER than Hercules, swiftER than Mercury. So there goes CM's claim to fame, along with the logic of his victory. WW has the strength of Gaea, mother earth herself, granted through Demeter. Given Diana's feats CM's supporters should actually try to get others to accept that CM is equal to her, I don't think they are in a position to say he surpasses her in every possible category of power the way they do, I mean from strength to speed to durability to combat speed, why argue without base? Even if one gives Captain Marvel that credit, how does he overcome her combat expertise, reflexes, weaponry, martial arts knowledge, tactitional abilities and ability to study her opponent's style of fighting? Many posters have said most of what I am saying right now, and every time, CM supporters reply that none of it matters anymore since CM has the Wisdom of Solomon, despite his inner immaturity as a child. Again, WW has the Wisdom of Athena and combat expertise, reflexes, weaponry, martial arts knowledge, tactitional abilities and ability to study her opponent's style of fighting. So she's not really deaf and dumb either.
She can not only recognise his strengths and weaknesses,but use her knowledge of fighting styles and martial arts moves, weaponry, etc etc to EXPLOIT them. I think a lot of people don't know that WW also can use the lasso as a whip, bang the bracelets together to create a sonic boom, cross them to create a forcefield, communicate with animals, (in some incarnations, super breath, however its use is rare), channel Zeus' divine lightning,diana during post crisis had better feats than shazam and did well against him in a fight that was interrupted,she also easily handled mary marvel,and if we talk about their early career,diana used to be strong enough to move the sun in the golden age,the only one that has ever had the same level of feats that superman has or better is diana,in the golden age she had better feats than clark,and during post crisis she had comparable feats putting her close to clark's level,when you analyze billy and diana's feats through their career,you will see that the track record proves that diana has been closer to clark than billy and at a certain point even more powerful(golden age),so i don't know how some people can understimate her so much,to the point that they think shazam would easily beat her,to the point that they think that the thing is stronger,i have even seen threads with wolverine or spiderman and people thinking they are a match for her,superman or shazam have never been that understimated,even when she has a career of 8 decades acumulating feats to proe she is more than a fight for superman,it's still not enough for some people,and they go and understimate her to a point that they call her nothing next to shazam,they understimate her to a point that is really ridiculous for somebody with her feat catalogue.
