i was reading injustice gods year 4 and in the latest chapter it was shown that Hercules one shot both wonderwoman and superman where as get defeated by captain marvel

I JUST read that issue but idk if super fans will accept it. this was the most respectful show of billy ive seen in years

Well this is the non-52 version, this is friggin Captain Marvel Shazam, not the new, "living lightning" one, who doesn't have the powers of the gods. Captain Marvel was always a physical match for Superman and lacks his vulnerability to magic. Hercules is a god in that book, so his powers must be magically based largely, hence Superman's weakness to it. Also since it's not new 52, Wonderwoman isn't as strong (not beast mode bracelets to take off) and isn't the god of war herself.

The original Captain Marvel, like many top tier heroes, is only limited by the writer. He can outrun the Flash, pick up infinity with Superman, outslug Superman, or go toe to toe with the Spectre, if the writer wills it.

To a certain point maybe, but Hercules is that damn strong. Everything has to be magic this and that to Superman fans.

It doesn't mean he's stronger, it is just the plot.
