(human with no powers, almost muscular than a superhuman...)

In some pictures/comics batman (the human god) is seen as muscular as Superman or more muscular.

That's like a Spider Man being as Buff as THOR...

Batman somehow is the same height as the Cool Justice Leaguers. I find it ridiculous.

@thorson: In simple terms, building muscle involves breaking down muscle fibres, which then repair stronger and hopefully bigger. This is obviously easier for a human than an alien who is basically indestructible, and so presumably would have to exert a lot more force to break down those muscle fibres.

A better question is how is superman so muscular?

Realistically Superman should be paper thin.

Why is Superman so muscular? If his size is proportional to his strength than shouldn't he be bigger than Galactus?

Like others have said, there is no reason for superman to be that big. But there are humans in real life that look even bigger than batman, so there's no reason he shouldn't be that big. He's a comic book character. Size is relevant to strength in the comic world. Look at wonder woman.

Basically Batman get more of a workout. Superman requires the weight of a medium sized moon to break a sweat therefore he doesn't really strain his muscles often so they don't build up. Batman on the other hand is constantly pushing his muscles as far as they can go so they build up more.

For the same reason he got so rich, so smart, so competent: flanderization.

To be honest neither of both would need to be that big, muscle weight is still weight and Batman needs to be agile and fast more that being strong.

Superman doesn't need to be buff. He's an alien with superpowers. He could have the posture of a stickman and still be extremely strong..

@thorson: its not a fair comparison of spider man v. Thor.

In my opinion this is why:

Superman is naturally the peak physical humanoid yes? Well Bruce Wayne has trained his whole life to be that exact thing.then there's spider man not a god and I've never seen him train to make his body the perfect weapon. See where I'm goin with this?

Just the way I see it I'm a life long Bat's fan in case you hadn't noticed my favoritism lol.
