It has to be Selina. I'm surprised no one has even mentioned Zatanna though. I think she is a close third behind Talia. WW is a distant possibility. I couldn't see Bruce ending up with someone with so much physical power. It would bother him and make him crazy paranoid.
Out of his list of possible loves, Talia, Selina etc. I think Wonder Woman is the person that would make him the least paranoid. Her morals are largely in check and she fights for the good side. Talia? Rabid loyalty to her father's "religion". Selina? She's on and off but at heart a compulsive thief that would sell you out without even thinking twice and largely cares only about herself.

This is real love >_<

I would love to see this in the movies.
Not sure if I really like the idea of Batman having a love interest or a child. Even though, I thought the scenes of Bruce and Selina together in Hush were awesome. Bruce is so driven by the lost of his parents that he spends years of his life training his mind and body to perfection so he can avenge their death. It just seems like someone so obsessed with fighting crime would not be concerned about their love life. It makes the character less cold, and more human whether that's good or bad.

@BlackPookie: People don't always get what they deserve.
You cant always get what you want, but you always get what you need.
It doesn't matter who he loves. Batman is so obsessed with achieving something impossible that he will never be happy in a relationship. His parents' deaths haunt him, and will haunt him until he dies. Until there is retribution for their deaths, and there never will be, he can't be in a real relationship.
@Asok: but sometimes he owns the right some nights have some "fun" with someone he knows and cares... but it is all changed now... with the new 52
@FadeToBlackBolt: It was also in the Blackest Night: Green Lantern trade. Don't remember any mention of Bruce though, but she and Mera were definitely Star Sapphires in it.
OT: Definitely Selina. Talia just always felt like a forced manipulation on her part. Bruce was basically a glorified sperm donor. Sure their "relationship" had it's moments, but they were few and far between. If you truly can't decide though, just go back and read Hush. It features them both and their different relationships with Bruce.
For me it always has been and always will be Selina Kyle/ Catwoman. They are pretty much made for each other and their on again off again romance suits their characters well. They have also had a kid together and she is being brought into the new 52 as a Huntress from Earth 2. Batman and Catwoman can't stand each other but still can't get enough of each other. They always seem to be at odds but somehow will still do anything for each other. That's old school romance right there! And just like Bruce Wayne can't seem to have a normal relationship because of his obsession with being Batman, Selina Kyle can't seem to hold onto a boyfriend because she is always getting herself in trouble as Catwoman. Plus she was the ORIGINAL love interest and if her and Batman are still going after 70+ years, whatever the original writers had in mind for these characters was the right thing to do. I don't really like Talia as a Love interest because she kind of creeps me out a little bit with her REALLY bad Elektra complex and Silver ST. Cloud was kind of a safe and boring choice to begin with.
And I personally am really glad that Batman and Wonder Woman have never gotten together because they don't have any real chemistry. People WANT Diana and Bruce to have chemistry because they are the Favorite Flagship characters, but I find their close friendship to be much more appealing. Batman has plenty of ladies trying to get into his bat pants, and it's nice that he actually has a female friend who is truly just a friend.

@The Dark Huntress said:" I am so torn between Selina, Talia and Diana. "Quote for truth. Bruce/Selina have the chemistry, but they lack a real future. Bruce/Talia have said future, but they lack the spark that Bruce has with Selina. Bruce/Diana has no problems, except that DC are hesitant to go with it.
@fadetoblackbolt:wait does wonder woman like bruce/batman or something?!
Okay, even though this question was posted 6 years ago,Ima answer anyway,I guess I'm the only one who thinks that Batan and the Joker are meant to be *sigh*
@Soulaf: you might acutely be closer to it than I was.
Depends on both the version and the writer. Pre-Crisis, I would say Talia al Ghul, and that applies to the DCAU and Arkhamverse versions as well (though he does also clearly love Catwoman a lot in both). Talia seems to yet again be his main love in Young Justice.
New Earth, I would say pre-psycho rapist Talia, post-character development Catwoman, and given that he proposed to her, Silver St. Cloud. Prime Earth, it seems like he's more the "celibate hero" so far as I can tell, though I haven't been keeping up with Prime Earth very much.
Nolanverse it's Rachel and then Catwoman after the former's death. Burtonverse, it's Vicki, then Catwoman.
Beware the Batman, he's a celibate hero. He's one in "The Batman" as well, and the DCEU, though I am suspecting they might pair him off with Wonder Woman in that (fingers crossed).
In Elseworlds, it depends, but in both JLA: The Nail and the story where he's a pirate, he gets together with Catwoman, and she's clearly his main love in the "Vampire Batman" trilogy as well.
I actually did a piece talking about who his ideal lover is:
http://spider-bat700.deviantart.com/art/Comics-Character-Discussion-1-Catwoman-or-Talia-601469843
@shroudofsorrow: Pre-Crisis??? He was developing feelings for Catwoman, even when he was with Talia AND in the late 70's and 80's, Catwoman and Selina were his greatest loves. Multiple panels and covers to prove that. He even outright saved a "dying" Catwoman over trying to get to Nocturna. I don't know how people forget that.
Arkhamverse, he used Talia. He probably cared about her BUT the way he used her, no, that's not true love. Plus, she asked him to kill her father in the Prequel so they could take over and rule. That's not a lover or girlfriend you need to be with and true love would NEVER require that.
Silver St. Cloud is definitely a "true past love" in the comics. Talia was a "true past love" for a little while in 71-75. BOTH relationships, regardless of how much they loved him, both relationships ended. Julie Madison was probably a "pure love" BUT that ended as well.
I am so late on this topic but here goes anyway:
Batman has had many loves, some greater than others, but to be honest, regardless of the era, timeline, or medium; him and Catwoman have been through the most with each other, good and bad, fighting and flirting, friends, allies, lovers, villains, they have ran the whole gamut and still have ended up with each other in their lives. And as the years goes by, in real time and in comic book time; their relationship has become more positive. Maybe not perfect or completely romantic, but they have grown in their partnerships and interactions with each other.
Like all good solid relationships that could be or are meant to be long-term, Bat and Cat have grown together and into each other, they have grown to love and respect each other and the longer the time continuum, from 1940 - Feb 2017, the closer they get to each other. They just know each other now; backwards and forwards. And they show up for each other time and time again.
@bumpaddle: You know what, I have been reading some of the stories from the 1970's and 80's and I think Bats himself was really done with Talia in 1988. I mean from when she made her debut, he pretty much had told her quite a few times that he didn't either want a relationship or something to the effect of "no". I mean, don't get me wrong, I think there was a time where he might had loved her but it began to lose it's intensity over time.
Zatanna was shut down very quickly. She was "freindzoned" even before the term was invented. Would had been interesting to see a relationship with her and Bruce though. Just for a little bit.
WonderBat ain't happening.
