@bl00dwerk: I don't like cutting all the way! It makes another piece of garbage to throw away. Sometimes it flies away, and you have to look around to make sure you have all of it. I do this with food wrappers as well.
@amazing_webhead: It may be possible if LEGO was super-nice about it. I'm assuming it's not possible. I have opened entire cases of things like the Eric Cartman South Park figures. Often in "cases," there are some that may be limited to one per and others appearing as duplicates. It just depends on whether or not LEGO has released the distribution ratio. It's to their benefit to get us to keep buying more in order to get all of them. Then there's also the option of trying to feel the packages to find the specific one you're looking for.
@amazing_webhead: I haven't tried it. While it stinks getting doubles, I do like the suspense of having no idea what's inside. And, of course, it makes the videos more interesting. I just have to remember to hold back the cursing when I get duplicates.
